You can see the Brown Mountain Lights from several vantage points in North Carolina, with the most popular being the Brown Mountain Overlook on NC Highway 181 and Wiseman’s View in the Linville Gorge area. Other locations include the Lost Cove Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway (milepost 310) and the slopes of Table Rock. Clear, dry nights, especially in autumn, offer the best viewing opportunities

Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests, the Brasstown Bald Visitor Information Center is the highest point in Georgia, rising 4,784 feet above sea level

The Brasstown Bald Summit Trail, which connects the parking area to the Visitor Center and Viewing Platform, is a 0.6 mile paved foot trail.  It is very steep.  The shuttle service is provided as an alternative to walking the trail
