Merie Earls Actress. Sec 74, lot 222 Born in Morrow, Ohio, she began her career in 1960s, as the little old lady from Pasadena, in a series of car commercials for Dodge. Branching into television, she was best remembered for her role as Maude Gormsley on the series “The Waltons” (1972-79). She also was regular on the series “Green Acres”, “The Bob Newhart Show”, “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman”, “CPO Sharkey” and “Happy Days”. Her film credits included “Gaily, Gaily” (1969), “Norwood” (1970), “Crazy Mama” (1975), “Fatso” (1980) and “Going Ape!” (1981). She died at age 95 following surgery in Glendale, California.
